Outreach & Sharing Corner
Redeemer Christian School is active in a variety of outreach services and projects throughout the school year. Current activities will be posted here. RCS feels our outreach programs are a way to teach our children how to serve our Lord and others at a young age.
In addition to our outreach ministry, we offer a "Sharing Corner" to help RCS families reach into our school community to serve each other.
Outreach Programs
In November, we will be doing the following:
Roxbury Social Services/Community Program
All of our classes are asked to help with this worthy program. We are joining with the church to collect items in need for Roxbury Social Services. Supplies are very low at this point at Social Services. RCS will be collecting soup and crackers, and supplies should be in by Friday, November 13th. Thank you for your continued help and support.
We are still collecting pennies. A large container is near our school entrance for the children to drop off their pennies (This will continue throughout the school year)
College Program
For the 2 1/2 and 3 year old classes, we will be joining the church to send "care packages" to college students who are living away at school. This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage these young adults who are away from home. The church will be sending pocket Bibles and our students will be making colorful bookmarks.
Military Program
Our KEDs classes will be corresponding with a soldier serving our country. Every KEDs class has adopted a soldier.
